Mid 20's life crisis

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

When you reach the age of 25, or maybe even younger, an internal clock starts ticking in your head. A sudden wave of thoughts begin to flood you and every second that passes by, the sense of urgency becomes stronger, more pronounced, more irritating. I am 25 but I haven't started my own career yet as a nurse. You see I turned down entering medical school after my premed and joined the Nursing bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any regrets in deviating from my original plans. The experiences and fulfillment from my present profession cannot be compared to my previous encounters as a premed student. The thing here, I need to make up for the 4 years I spent in Nursing school and get even or ahead with my younger colleagues who have started their career earlier than me. ..... haaayyy... Pressure!
